A Veterans Day Tribute

It should be of no surprise to anyone that we at American Prestige Roofing love this great country. We are especially grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. Our freedom is owed to the men and women of the armed forces, especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

A Veteran’s Prayer

To those men and women who have served, we say thank you. To the families who are separated from their loved ones that are deployed, we love you. For those families whose loved one paid the ultimate sacrifice, words cannot express the gratitude and love we have for you.

I came across a poem that I feel honors all Veteran’s titled – A Veteran’s Prayer by Julie K. I hope you enjoy it and share it with others.

Dear Lord, I’ve served my country,
My love for her is strong.
I’ve stood behind “Old Glory”…
When others thought her wrong.

I’ve joined in celebration
And raised a toast in cheer.
I’ve pledged her my allegiance
And sung her anthem dear.

I’ve wept for fallen comrades
Who proudly fought and died.
The freedoms they defended…
I cherish deep inside.

I’m proud I’m an American.
For her strength and peace I pray.
There is no greater country…

The American Flag Symbolizes Freedom and Sacrifice

I want to also thank the organization Follow the Flag North Ogden for creating a powerful tribute to our veterans. If you have not yet had the opportunity to see the giant flag in North Ogden, I invite you to do so. The flag of the United States of America is a reminder to me of the sacrifices made for freedom.

The giant flag that hangs in coldwater canyon is the largest free-flying American flag in the world. Many were present when the flag was unfurled, which is a spectacular sight to see. I hope you enjoy the video.
